The Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I of England. There are three surviving versions of the portrait in addition to several derivative portraits and this one hung in the national collection of Royal Museums Greenwich is one of them.
Queen's House is a former royal residence built between 1616 and 1635 in Greenwich. It is also one of the most important buildings in British architectural history, being the first consciously classical building to have been constructed in the country.
Exploring Greenwich today. Greenwich is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for being the home of the Prime Meridian. Also today i found out that Queen Elizabeth I was born at Greenwich Palace too - in 1553.
